The unsigned 4-piece rock band Canterbury come from the scenic South of England and are taking the music industry by storm.
The lads first bonded at school in 2005 and instantly clicked with their passion for music and from then on Canterbury was created.
2007 was the year the band got it together and started playing in miniscule open slots that gradually built up their fanbase over four years, which lead to filling slots with the likes of Billy Talent, Enter Shikari, Against Me, Twin Atlantic and You Me At Six.
In 2009, Canterbury self-released their debut album ‘Thank You’ and received fantastic praise from fans and press reviews. Their second digital release ‘Calm Down’ EP was a success and was even aired on Radio 1. New EP ‘More Than Know’ is free to download and should be joined with an album later this year.
The Music Press was invited to have a chat with Luke Prebble about inspiration for new songs, major influences and on the road survival tips. Don’t miss it!
