Sarah always knew she wanted a career in the music industry from a very young age. After having a taste of performing in various theatres through her dance school it was at the tender age of 10 years old that she started taking up piano lessons and vocal coaching. Sarah would sit endlessly composing songs and writing lyrics. At the age of 15 she began performing professionally at venues all across the country and was lucky enough to be a support slot for the Motown legend Jimmy Ruffin and also joined Eurovision winners Bucks Fizz as support on their UK tour. This was undoubtedly an amazing experience for her and a few years after she was awarded ‘The Best Female Vocalist' in 2007 throughout South Yorkshire.

Performing professionally all across the UK, Sarah was also writing and recording her own material in her hometown of Sheffield and travelling to record with a production team in London. It wasn’t long before Sarah decided to make the move to London permanent in order to forward her career and it was here that I was introduced to Sarah. I decided to take her under my wing in order to help develop her not only as a songwriter but also as an artist. I have dedicated a lot of time to Sarah and I have taught her almost everything I know about the craft of songwriting, recording vocal's and of course how to pen a hit song!

After recording many songs together Sarah entered into the ‘2011 UK Songwriting Competition’ and won the Semi-Finalist position in the pop category with our song 'Superhero'. The song beat thousands of other writers and has now been registered with Sony with is a huge achievement. It’s worth mentioning that Sarah's passion is Country/Pop music and her influences include Shania Twain, Martina Mcbride, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Leann Rimes… just to name a few. Recently, Sarah recorded a music video to one of her country/pop songs titled ‘The Long Road Home' and has been given the opportunity to perform this song at a music festival in Chennai, India next month, which has been organised by the owners of Twitter, Facebook and Spotify. Throughout March and April, Sarah will be heading over to Nashville TN, with her new Country/Pop album. We are currently in the final stages of recording this now and Sarah is very excited to get the new songs out!!
